Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use the Wearist mobile application ("App"), why it is processed, and the rights you have. We take the protection of your data seriously and process only what is needed to provide the service.

1. Data Controller

The App is provided by an independent developer (the "data controller"). Contact: destek@wear.ist.

2. Data We Process

• Account information: your email address and chosen username (if you create an account). If you sign in with Google, the email and basic profile Google shares.
• Anonymous session: so you can try AI tagging without an account, the app creates a temporary session identifier on our server. It is used only to count your free trial allowance and contains no name, email or similar personal information. When you create an account, your session carries over to it.
• Wardrobe data: photos of the clothes you add, tags such as name/color/category, and your outfit history. This data is stored primarily on your device.
• Location: your approximate location is used only to fetch local weather; your location history is not stored.
• Photos: your clothing and (optionally) selfie photos are processed for AI tagging, outfit suggestions and color analysis.
• Subscription information: the status of your premium purchase (we never see your payment card details; the store handles payment).
• Usage data: technical usage counters, so the App works correctly and abuse is prevented.

3. Why We Process Data

• To provide outfit suggestions and AI-powered style advice,
• To let you manage your wardrobe and wear history,
• To create your account and enable sign-in,
• To operate the premium subscription,
• To improve the service and prevent abuse.

4. AI Processing

For tagging, outfit suggestions and color analysis, your photos and wardrobe data are sent to our service provider Anthropic for AI processing. This data is processed only to generate a response for you and is not used to train models. Photos are transmitted temporarily for processing.

5. Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. To provide the service we use the following providers:

• Supabase: hosting, authentication and database (EU region).
• Anthropic: AI processing.
• RevenueCat and the relevant app store (Apple / Google), subscription management and payment.
• Open-Meteo: weather forecasts (no personal data shared).
• Google: authentication only if you use "Sign in with Google".

Some of these providers may be located abroad; data transfers are made only to provide the service and in line with applicable law.

6. Website (wear.ist)

This section applies only to the wear.ist website; data processing inside the app is described in the sections above. The site uses Google Analytics to measure visitor numbers and which channel the traffic came from. For this purpose your browser sends Google the page you viewed, your approximate location (country/city), your device and browser type, and the link you arrived from, and a cookie is used. This data is not used to identify you personally, is not matched with your app account, and is not shared for advertising.

If you would rather not be measured, you can block cookies in your browser settings or use a tracker blocker; the site will still work normally.

7. Retention

Your wardrobe and usage data are retained while your account is active. If you ask to delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within a reasonable period. Data stored on your device is removed from the device when you uninstall the App.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and data portability (GDPR), as well as the corresponding rights under Turkey's Law No. 6698 (KVKK), art. 11. 9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we update the "last updated" date on this page.
